About Kim Welch

Kim Welch has been practicing yoga for over nine years. Having always lived an active lifestyle, she began yoga as a way to stay physically fit. With regular practice she quickly learned yoga has far more to offer. She found relief from chronic neck and shoulder pain. In times of adversity, she finds tranquility and peacefulness through her practice. She also credits yoga for making her a stronger surfer. After several years of self-taught home practice, Kim decided to broaden her horizon and began teacher training under the guidance of Karrie AuBuchon of Yoga Bala. In March 2011 she received her 200 hour yoga teacher certification in Hatha/Vinyasa tradition. She is eager to share her love of yoga with all her students as she too continues growing through mind, body and spirit.
